Aldo Tolino
The works of Aldo Tolino that I really like is his works of Folded Portraits. The main material that he works with is paper. In a video, he mentions how paper is unlike canvas as you are able to change much more. That there are "two very interesting things with paper, you can put paint on it, you can print something on it, or you can fold pieces of paper".
What I find so interesting is how much that the folding changes the photograph. It reminds me of a fold you can do with a note that changes the face of The Queen. What I also like is how there are endless ways to fold the paper. Overall there are endless ways to alter the paper not just folding. It definitely adds other aspects to the photos.
