I have now done all my final prints.

I have now decided what techniques I am going to use. I have also decided what techniques I am going to use on each photograph. I have also decided what size I am going to print for the final prints. As from my feedback, it was suggested that the final prints be small like postcards. I have decided to print them around 5 inches by 4 inches. For all the techniques that I am using can be done on photo paper. This good as the photographs look better on photo paper. It will also be consistent through out. I am also going to be printing my self. This is because I am doing the manipulation.

Another technique that I have been trying is printing on the photo paper on the back. When it is printed the ink on the paper is wet.

I have now decided on the final photographs I am going to use. I am no going to start manipulating them and trying out final techniques on them. This is going to be done by hand as I fell I get better results this way.

I have made an another plan to visit London again. This time, I have made a better plan and looked into more areas and planned my route better.

The idea of panoramic a good idea but I think it would look better separately especially when presented. If using different techniques I may use different materials. Having a panoramic as one piece would restrict what techniques I could do. One key thin I think is important is that a range of techniques is used. I would like to do a different technique with each building. I do like the idea of them to be small like postcards. The material that will be used I want to be suitable for the technique. This could be a range of materials like photo paper, card and acetate. I feel for the presentation it would be good for them to be framed.

Recently I went into London to take some photographs. First I went to the front of the hotel at St. Pancras. This did not work as well as I thought it would. I was unable to get the whole building in. I was no able to get as far back without buildings getting in the way. It did not help that the building was not on the same ground level. I then went to London Bridge Station to photograph the Shard. Close up to the Shard I was unable to get the building into the frame. There were building works going on. I tried to keep it out of the frame as I didn't want it to be distracting. From Tower Bridge the view was much better. The weather was not so great though on this visit. I feel that I need to take photograph from a point that is far enough back but at a small height that is more level with the buildings. I would like to visit The Monument in London. I have been up before and it has a good view point especially of the Shard.

I have visited Alexander Palace to do a shoot recently. I resume there was an event going on as it was very busy. I tried the points of view that I looked at. At the bottom of the hill where I planned a view point was not successful. This is where I hoped to get the whole building into the frame. The hill being steep made this not possible. The hills were distracting in the frame and cropping it. My second point of view point which was closer and centred was blocked by trees. Instead, I concentrated closer with nothing cropping in or distracting in the frame. Concentrating on the part of the building in the middle with the glass.
