Printing Backwards

Another technique that I have been trying is printing on the photo paper on the back. When it is printed the ink on the paper is wet.

This is an example of it being printed on the back without anything else added to it.

It has kept most of the shape. The detail is what is taken away when this technique is used.

I thought it would be interesting to see what would happen if salt was added. Like when you add salt to watercolour. I thought it might have the same effect.

I like this effect. I was hoping that the effect would be stronger. It is so small in effect overall it is not really clear what it is.

The following once printed I put between another piece of paper.

With this one I fell it doesn't work as well as the others. I find the effect a bit confusing.

The last one is one that was smudged.

I like this effect the most out of all of them. I did this with my finger at the time but it would work with a brush.
