Re-Working
I decided to rework into two of the examples. This was in the previous post about the original example. I have then gone and tried this out.
The original example for the first one was stitching. This is where I stitched into the pattern.
I mentioned previously looking into reworking into it. I did this by taking the scan and reprinting it with the stitching in the photograph. Then adding another element.
I have found from doing this it has changed a lot from the original photograph. I find the quality of this re-work not very good. I would prefer adding the element on to the original. Instead of putting it back through the computer again.
The original for the last one was folding following the shape of the building.
With this, I mentioned maybe it should be kept folded. So this time, I scanned the photograph folded. I then printed the image and added another element outlining the folded photograph.
I do prefer this to the first one. I feel that it works much better. But the quality is still a problem like the first one. If I want the folded technique shown like this I think it is better to put on a background/mount it.
